Bean United

Since 2021, we have been sourcing our coffee at the Martinsried site from the Munich-based social coffee company “Bean United”.
The special feature of Bean United is that for every kilo of coffee beans sold, €2.50 goes to the Welthungerhilfe school meals project in Burundi, which can use this amount to finance 10 meals for school children. Bean United’s coffee and espresso beans are traded directly and sourced from coffee fincas in Brazil, Peru, Rwanda, and India without intermediaries.
In addition, the beans are grown sustainably and without the addition of chemicals and roasted in a traditional, gentle way in a drum. With every cup of coffee, we can therefore support the social coffee company in its mission to provide school children in Burundi with a meal.
In 2024, we purchased around 280kg of coffee from Bean United – that equates to around 22,400 cups of coffee and 2,400 meals, with which employees made a social contribution every day.

“Time for Forest”

On the occasion of “Earth Day” the project “Time for the Forest” was implemented. This is our initiative in which we engaged in the fight against climate change by planting 1000 trees.
At the end of the action, we received a certificate confirming our contribution to offsetting CO₂ emissions. The Aeris Futuro Foundation was a partner of the action.

Flood Area Donations & Activities
Euronet partnered with the Fundación Banco de Alimentos de Madrid to support the Gran Recogida campaign, a major annual food collection initiative aiming to help vulnerable communities and support those impacted by the devastating DANA storms in Valencia.
We also partnered with Cruz Roja Española (Red Cross) to streamline donations for flood relief, hence all our ATMs across Spain displayed QR codes that enable people to contribute directly to the recovery campaign from the DANA storms.
ATM fees were also waived on national cash withdrawals at all our ATMs across the province of Valencia on the aftermath of the DANA storms, ensuring easier cash access when it’s needed most.

Foodbank Support
The collective work of the volunteering team resulted into 2,914 meals for individuals and families who rely on the food bank for their daily sustenance.
The team contributed by packaging fresh produce and labeling food boxes to facilitate the correct distribution of the packaged goods to those in need.
Giving back to the community truly makes a difference in the lives of others. We are dedicated to serving and extend our heartfelt thanks to our employees worldwide for their commendable volunteer efforts.
